Heading over to my cousins house tonight. Her husband is in the army and has finished three tours in Afghanistan and is being deployed again in September as an apache pilot. And they want me to teach them both how to play Call of Duty: Black Ops. This shall be interesting.

I’ve had this pretty good sized canvas sitting in my closet for a while now. It was a previous painting I did about two years ago, and then decided I hated, and painted white four months ago. Tonight months worth of pent up frustration just got taken out on that poor canvas.
I actually really like the outcome. I also feel relaxed and generally at ease.
